About this scheme
The e-Medhabruti Scholarship (Technical and Professional) is a merit-cum-means scholarship implemented by the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha. It provides financial assistance to meritorious, domiciled students of Odisha pursuing regular technical and professional undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in recognized institutions.
Eligibility
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Odisha
- Admission: Admitted to the first year of a regular technical/professional degree program in an AICTE/UGC/MCI recognized institution
- Minimum marks: At least 60% marks in the last qualifying examination (+2 for UG or degree for PG)
- Annual family income: Must not exceed ₹8,00,000
- Exclusions: Distance learning, correspondence, diploma, M.Phil, PhD students and those receiving other government scholarships are not eligible
