About this scheme
The K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad is an interest-free loan scholarship offered by the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) to support Indian students pursuing postgraduate studies at reputed universities abroad. It is one of India's oldest overseas education scholarships, established in 1956.
Eligibility
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen
- Academic qualification: Must possess a First Class undergraduate degree or equivalent diploma from a recognised university
- Admission status: Must have secured admission or applied for admission to a recognised foreign university for a full-time postgraduate programme
- Final-year applicants: Final-year students may apply if they can provide final results later
