About this scheme
PMS-SC is a central government scheme administered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. It covers course fees, maintenance allowance, book allowance, and other study charges for SC students pursuing post-matric courses (Class 11 onwards up to PhD).
Eligibility
- Social category: Scheduled Caste (SC)
- Annual family income: Below ₹2,50,000
- Course level: Class 11 and above — including graduation, PG, and PhD
- Institution: Must be a government-recognised institution
