About this scheme
PMS-ST is the central scheme for Scheduled Tribe students pursuing any post-matric level course (Class 11 onwards). It reimburses tuition fees and provides a maintenance allowance. The scheme is funded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and implemented through state governments.
Eligibility
- Social category: Scheduled Tribe (ST)
- Annual family income: Below ₹2,50,000
- Course level: Class 11 and above — all post-matric courses
